Rahdunes – Rahdunes

Back in 2007, before the success of the Peaking Lights and the various travels and relocations there was a San Francisco based fucked-up avant rock duo known as Rahdunes. They were Nate Archer and Aaron Coyes (and even PL’s Indra Dunis herself, playing the drums on one ofthe tracks). The self-titled album is one of the more psychedelic and less noise drected offering from this psychedelic noise rock underground. It’s fuzzy, lo-fi and mostly dense as molasses flood, but it’s multi-level, it glows in the dark and listening to it is like exploring an ancient, half-collapsed temple full of traps, but also full of rewards. A fascinating look at history of the psychedelic underground. The newest history. Recommended!
