Low Praises – Waste the Night

Hard to believe this is a long distance collaboration between Neil Lord and Jimmy Spice, because it sounds so personal and intimate you could’ve sworn it’s just two people in a bedroom doing dream poppy soundscapes with minimalistic, delicate beats and a narcotic haze all over the mp3 files. Heavy with sunscorched, psychedelic droning electronics and woozy and hazy vocals that disappear in the electronic echoland might be good music for when you’ve downed one too many beers and you’re just kinda half-sitting, half-lying in a randomly chosen place and not sure whether you’re still there or far out. Chances are, Low Praises might take your plight to to the far side.
