Peter Walker – Has Anybody Seen Our Freedoms?

Thanks to the amazing music digger(s) at Dying For Bad Music I’ve discovered a simply great lost-and-found 1970 studio recording by the American acoustic guitar legend Peter Walker. Using only his guitar and his voice, he crafts heartfelt songs that walk the line between traditional American folk music, raga stylings and intense primitvism improvisations, ever changing and complex without losing their songwriting genius. If you’ve enjoyed the stuff by Daniel Bachman or Sean Proper I’ve posted on Weed Temple earlier or you’re simply a fan of the classics like Sandy Bull or Robbie Basho – you’ll fall in love with this album! Highly recommended.
